Trapping a Duchess – Episode 2

Hello, everyone!  Welcome to Episode Two of my podcast novel Trapping a Duchess

Last week you met our hero Andrew, a young earl whose life took an unexpected turn when his bride-to-be left him standing at the altar.  Rather than deal with the scandal, he leaves for an extended stay in America.  Perhaps there he will be able to forget the woman who preferred ruin over becoming his wife.

But there are two sides to every story…

Meet our heroine…
Lady Sophie Sinclair had plans for her life that did not include marriage…and certainly not to a man like Andrew.  Her decision to flee on the morning of her wedding had been made with utmost conviction.  Yet instead of the freedom she desires, her return to London has brought a change in attitude from every direction.  And fate does not take kindly to rejection…

Author’s note:  Next week’s episode will feature a promo for Goblin Market, a new podcast novel by the amazingly talented Jennifer Hudock.  In the meantime, I encourage you to take a peak…have a taste or two…and fall into a world of darkness that will leave you dying for more.

I knew as soon as Sophie was described in episode one, I was going to adore her. She is the model for the future of womankind… the rebel, the self-thinking woman. You introduced her to the story so well, and her cunning behavior with Simon, while it didn’t go over as well as she’d planned, was brilliant. I am really enjoying this story! Can’t wait for episode three!!!

You have donee well to spin a web of irony with the likes of Sophie…who’d it seems rather be swayed by “polite society” than hold true to what she values the most. But then again, humans are a fickle bunch. Bravo Michele.

I recently downloaded “Trapping a Duchess,” and before listening , I found via a PC housekeeping chore, that the 002 and 003 files are duplicates and by listening, find that both are identified in the “text” and headers as episode 003.

Oi! Excellent catch, Mke! I recently updated episodes two and three and obviously flubbed it up! I’ve corrected the issue…you should be good to go now!

Thanks a million! I really appreciate it! :)
