Bio

As a native Floridian, I spent the majority of my youth out of the heat and inside where the air was cool and I didn’t have to worry about sunburns.  While most of my friends would be and about, I could usually be found with my nose between the pages of a book.  It didn’t even matter what kind – I read everything from the classics to the dictionary (yes, the dictionary) and everything in between.

Still, it took me awhile to realize that I didn’t just love reading, I loved writing; I loved the idea that the characters I connected with and their amazing lives were born from a tiny little spot inside someone’s brain.  From truly awful poetry came short stories, then screenplays, and eventually, novels.  For me, the transition was inevitable.  After all, I believe authors don’t choose their stories as much as stories choose their tellers.  And characters have a way of slipping into one’s brain and leaving an unmistakable imprint, an absolute need to have their story told.

I studied Mathematics at University of Central Florida and currently spend my days as a financial analyst for a large hospital system.  One day I hope to transform the numbers on my computer screen into words…stories, actually, that readers can’t wait to get their hands on.

Until then, I’ll continue sharing the people and worlds that come to mind and allowing my creativity to reign!  I hope you’ll join me while I do so…
